Friday, August 15th, Darryl Hall and John Oates performed live in front of a packed house inside the Hard Rock Las Vegas, at the Joint.

Hall & Oates is a pop music duo made up of Daryl Hall and John Oates. The act achieved its greatest fame in the late 1970s and early to mid-1980s. They specialized in a fusion of rock and roll and rhythm and blues styles which they dubbed "rock and soul." They are best known for their six #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: "Rich Girl", "Kiss on My List", "Private Eyes", "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)", "Maneater", and "Out of Touch", as well as many other songs which charted in the Top 40.

They last reached the pop top forty in 1990 and then slowly faded from public view, though they did not formally break up. They have continued to record and tour with some success. In total, the act had thirty-four singles chart on the US Billboard Hot 100. As of 2006, Hall and Oates have seven RIAA platinum albums (along with six RIAA gold albums).

A greatest hits compilation was released in 2001 from Bertelsmann Music Group. The BMG collection was expanded in 2004 and reissued the following year, after BMG merged with Sony Music Entertainment. Their performance at Beauty Bar last Thursday the girls proved that even though they had to cut back on the blood and excessive cursing, they still are a far cut above any band's live show in Vegas. So as we are walking back from our interview down freemont we are being followed by the Freemont Security ( a rouge force of mutant retards who could never make it as a cop) who travel like a gay Starsky and Hutch in a suped up golf cart... last time we checked we can out run a fucking golf cart!

And behind them were 6 of Las Vegas' metros bike cops. They tailed us the whole way, like we were the fuckin president.

CAN WE JUST SAY ONE THING!! FUCK YOU METRO!! YOU GUYS ARE THE ANTI CRUISE!! NO FUN MOTHERFUCKERS!! NO JAY WALKING, NO BEER DRINKING , NO STANDING IN THE STREET! FUCK GET A LIFE!! CRACK HEADS ARE SUCKING SHIT OUT OF PEDOFILES ASSES FOR $5 AND YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT US FUCKING JAY WALKING!! FUCK YOU!

So we get to Beauty Bar tonight and the stage guy freaks out on us yet again..

THE OWNER OF BEAUTY BAR SAID SHE WILL PRESS CHARGES. Hey Kojack! Last time we checked BREE is a manager..not an owner!! thanks for the bullshit story!! ITS FUCKIN ROCK N ROLL!! YOURE NOT RUNNING A PRISON!!!

He threatened again to pull the plug on us. Mr.D was there telling him if he did that. He would guarantee there would be a riot. and we dont want that to happen.

The stage manager continued to whine... THE HEAD OF AMPLIFY IS COMING DOWN RIGHT NOW TO TALK TO YOU DIRECTLY!! WHA !! WHA!! WHA!!!

so here comes Tim Driver..the head of Amplify.. and his wife / sidekick/ girlfriend Tina... let us say..they are both great people.. we love them.. they are both trying to do something good for Las Vegas and musicians everywhere. So you will never hear us say anything bad about them or what they do. Tim talked to Mr.D who reassured him yet again we would behave. Only out of respect for Tim and what he is doing.

Tina was freaking out about shutting us down...and again Mr.D had to reassure them it would be alright. Cuz kiddies.. we may be the most hardcore band in the world. But, we arent going to fuck someone up who is doing something good for musicians or artists. We arent going to destroy his gear or their place.

So, we did the show...we pulled the biggest crowd of the evening. Tim, Tina , Stage Manager.. we saw ya loving it!!! Well, it started out as an auspicious day (did I spell that right??) It was August 7th, and it was D7's 7th Show! 777 ..now its 888

Dark clouds were rolling in... Mr.D our manager had gotten up early to secure us a spot to talk to Major Lable A&R...it was there at registration that he recieved yet another warning about our show from the Staff of Amplify.

It seems 7 girls have sin city running for the hills in fright. Venues are afraid to book us... but always end up wanting us back.. cuz we pull.. we pack out clubs.. but sorry I digress.

So they warn him again.. NO BLOOD! NO FEATHERS! NO FIRECRACKERS! NO SPARKLERS, NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE!! NO NO NO MEANS NO!

FUCK! we cant do shit!! So today we went to the Major Lable A&R lecture and I had to tell you it was the most depressing shit in the world! Here we were surrounded in a sea of fucking cloned bands.

I swear there most not have been anyone working at Guitar Center or Starbucks for the last three days of this conference.. and Ill tell you another thing.. most of these boy bands were bigger bitches than us.. fucking skinny ass pussies and shit talkers who hated us cuz we have tits and dont have to hide it when we suck dick.

So , we had to listen to these great A&R guys , who had great past historys tell us that the world is over , rock n roll is dead and they should be listening to us conference people cuz their lives are over and all they got is this triple platinum Limp Bisquit Record on their walls and a shotgun in their mouths.

So , we bailed on that shit half way through ..it was depressing as fuck! Plus they were too blind in their sorrow to see 7 hot cuntz walk right past them who can save Rock n Fuckn Roll! They rather circle jerk with the next Fall Out Boy who can pour them a mean latte. - Click here to read more.

Mosaic Performs for the Public Education Foundation

Mosaic to Debut Full-Length Show to Benefit the Public Education Foundation.

Who: Mosaic, the six-man, instrument-free, vocal band recently named “Next Great A Cappella Group” by CBS’ “The Early Show.”

New eco-charity concert series to occur every Saturday night through Sept. 27

Red Rock Resort premieres “Bottle Rock It,” its new weekly poolside concert series with a wine-tasting charity option with all proceeds benefiting the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. Legendary rocker Slash and his Blues Ball Band will headline the premiere event on Saturday, July 5. Slash will be performing the first of three summer concerts at Red Rock Resort entitled LAST MAN STANDING; with each show featuring some of the most talented and legendary musicians in rock and hip hop history.

Joining Slash on stage for the launch will be Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, drummer Jason Bonham who performs with Led Zeppelin in place of his legendary father as well as appearances by Royston Langdon, formerly of Spacehog; and other surprise guest artists. Tickets for the event are $30 and available at the door. For an additional $15, guests can enjoy an organic wine tasting section with all proceeds from the wine tasting event benefiting the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.
