All-You-Can-Drink Saturdays at McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon

McFadden’s Ups the Ante with All-You-Can-Drink Saturdays

Get McFaded with All-You-Can-Drink Beers, House Wines and Cocktails for Less Than $25

Found some extra cash in your pocket? Then drop by McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon, Las Vegas’ favorite Irish pub, Saturday night at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino from 10 p.m. to midnight where the tap keeps flowing and the fun keeps going – for one low cost.

Beginning July 11, for only $20 and $10 for men and women, respectively, cocktails, domestic beers and house wines are all-you-can-drink. And with the purchase of a drink wristband, all drinks are $3 after midnight.

Open to the public and hassle-free, Saturday nights at McFadden’s will be the Strip’s new hub for weekend festivities – the perfect way to kick back and unwind with a few friends and spirits to lift your spirit.

McFadden’s 7,000-square-foot-plus tavern at the Rio is Sin City’s newest pub-hub for crowds seeking out an unpretentious party bar where both men and women roll up their sleeves and have a great time. Already famous on the East Coast and in the Midwest, McFadden’s Vegas outpost boasts two rooms (including a 150-person private party room with its own island bar), nearly 20 high-definition plasma TVs, a dance floor and a breathtakingly long 100-foot mahogany bar perfect for dancing on. Along with a full bar featuring dozens of favorite draught beers and 90-ounce fishbowl cocktails, customers can tuck into McFadden’s Almost Famous Boneless Buffalo Wings, Irish Stew, and of course, Shepherd’s Pie topped with air-whipped potatoes, from Chef Brian Rathbun’s kitchen.

Open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. until the Erin goes bragh, McFadden’s beauteous Lucky Charms and jovial Ministers of Hospitality ensure everyone has fun, whether they’re there to watch the game, get their drink on with the dueling pianos and DJ Soup Can, or celebrate happy occasions and bachelorette parties.

Built in 1977 by an Irishman named Steve McFadden near Times Square on 42nd and 2nd, McFadden’s has grown to 11 locations across the country, including Boston; Pittsburgh; Chicago; Columbus; Washington, D.C.; Nashville; Worcester; and Philadelphia. The success is no surprise, thanks to Steve’s mission of providing a place for family and friends to gather and celebrate good times while enjoying great food and drinks. He even used his own family’s Irish recipe Shepherd’s Pie on the menu. When you combine that kind of unaffected love with great draught beer and a party atmosphere, it’s no wonder that McFadden’s has hosted millions of good times, bachelorette parties and sports nights.

McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon is open 11 a.m. to 4 a.m., seven days a week, inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, 3700 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89103. For more information, call 702.270-6200 or visit www.McFaddensSaloon.com.

The Rules of Beer Pong at McFadden's

The Rules of Beer Pong

Beerfest Thursdays at McFadden's Featuring BEER PONG!

Beer Pong is a drinking game which is especially popular among college students, but can be enjoyed by any group looking for anything from a good buzz to a drunken stupor. It is generally played in pairs of two, with the teams standing at opposing ends of a flat, rectangular surface (preferably a ping pong table, but anything accepted by both teams can be used).
  1. Six or ten cups are formed in a pyramid at either end of the table, with the base of the pyramid centered at the edge of the table. The players attempt to toss or bounce ping pong balls into the cups, each of which is filled with 1/3 of a beer (or other intoxicating spirit). When a player makes a shot into a cup of the opposing team, a player from the opposing team drinks the contents of the cup and removes it from the table.
  2. The game continues in this way, with both players from one team taking a shot, followed by both players from the other team. The team that is able to clear all of the opposing team’s cups first is the winner, with the losing team splitting the contents of the winning team’s remaining cups.
  3. To begin, a player from each team takes a shot simultaneously without looking at the cups. This is repeated until one team makes, and one team misses. This decides who gets the first possession.
  4. After the first game, the winning team gets the first shot. The elbow rule is also applied for EVERY shot. A player’s elbow may not cross the plane of the playing table or it does not count. It sounds simple, but the game is more complex than it first appears.
  5. Although the cups begin in a pyramid, they don’t necessarily stay that way. As there are more holes in the pyramid from removing cups, it gets more difficult to make shots. To account for this, a team must “re-rack” at certain numbers of remaining cups in order to keep a compact shape at which their opponents can shoot. Each team gets two re-racks per game at any time. Use them wisely.
  6. A standard rule of thumb is to take one re-rack with 6 cups remaining, and then with 2 or 3 cups remaining. As with any drinking game, spills are inevitable. If you spill one of your cups, there is no penalty. You’re just dumb, because you lost that cup and just gave your opponents a freebee. You may even have booze all over your pants.
  7. At McFadden’s, we leave disputes up to our general manager, Joe. But at home, we suggest the host of your party settle the disputes. And don’t forget, it’s just a beer game. Don’t get upset if something doesn’t work in your favor, because in this game, everyone wins!

McFadden’s Wet & Wild Bikini Contest

McFadden’s Goes Crazy and Gets Wrestlin’ with its Wet ‘n’ Wild Party

Bikini Contest, Wrestling Match and Drink Specials Make Some Playmates Want to Come Out and Play

McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is about to get wet – and wild. On Saturday, July 19, the local Irish pub is transforming itself into the equivalent of a college spring break vacation in Cancun on steroids. Featuring a pool wrestling match, bikini contest, drink specials, cash prizes and an appearance by a trio of Playmates, the first-ever ‘Wet ‘n’ Wild’ is poised to put on a party guests won’t soon remember.

The party begins at 10 p.m. with an array of drinks specials including $3 Coronas, $5 Rum Runners and $5 Get Lei’d Shots running all night long.

With the women getting all the action in the makeshift wrestling pool, the men will see some action out of the water when playmates Kara Monaco, Monica Leigh and Jordan Monroe drop by and join in the festivities at 11 p.m.

At 11:30 p.m., the games begin as McFadden’s staff sets up an inflatable pool filled with several gallons of water. Contestants brave – or inebriated – enough to get down ‘n’ dirty will by vying for a 3-month tanning package courtesy of the Tan Factory.

But if getting wet is not an option, female guests can opt to enter the bikini contest at midnight where one “talented” winner will take home $500 in cash.

There is something for everyone, because in true McFadden’s style, several other contests – including a limbo contest – will keep the party wild and crazy through to the wee hours of the morning.

Beerfest Each Thursday at McFadden's

McFadden’s Salutes the Amber Nectar Every Thursday with Beerfest

The Wildest Pub on Earth Goes All Out Each Week with Incredible Specials, Games and Cash Prizes

True, McFadden’s Irish Restaurant and Saloon is already Las Vegas’ favorite spot to stop for a pint (or two or three). But now this haven of hops has gotten even better with the introduction of Beerfest every Thursday at 10 p.m.

Each week, ale lovers can take advantage of specials such as $2 for pints of Bud Light, $5 for pitchers, and for those who enjoy something a little harder, $3 for well drinks. Get to McFadden’s at 8 p.m., and for one solid hour, relish in the luxury of an open bar for just $10.

But McFadden’s wouldn’t be able to call its weekly event Beerfest without competition. Each Thursday, guests can sign up to battle with one another in such games as Beer Pong, Flip Cup and more. At stake: a $50 cash prize for the winner of each category. But with drink prices this low, everyone is a winner.

And the fun isn’t confined to Thursdays. Misbehave Mondays feature $5 martinis and $5 lemon drop shots. Take Twosdays head south of the border for $2 Coronas, two-for-one margaritas and $2 quesadillas. Wednesdays are Industry Nights, when patrons can call their drinks for just $3. The work-week ends with It’s Effen Friday, when Effen Vodka and Effen Black Cherry Vodka cocktails are just $5.

As for Saturdays and Sundays, McFadden’s promises you a party you’ll never forgot (or possibly, never remember).
