Arianny Celeste Parties at Studio 54

Last night, Studio 54 in MGM Grand welcomed the beautiful UFC Octagon Girl, Arianny Celeste to host an electrifying pre-fight party. Many of UFC’s finest, including Urijah Faber, came out to party with the gorgeous model as they took over the legendary nightclub’s VIP section.

Also seen partying at the Las Vegas hot spot was Devon George of the Dallas Mavericks. Las Vegas favorite DJs Shift and Jose 2 Hype were behind the decks spinning hard-hitting tracks as they kept the dance floor packed and pumping all night long.

NBA Champion Ray Allen at Wet Republic

Ray Allen, shooting guard for the 2008 NBA World Champions Boston Celtics was spotted at WET REPUBLIC’s weekly industry party – Daylife Sundays. Allen got the party started right away as he jumped into the pool and initiated the first volleyball game.

He tested his skills at volleyball, as fans of the NBA star followed his lead and packed the pool to get a chance to play against one of the leading shooters in the game. The basketball star beat the Las Vegas heat by retrieving to his luxury Bungalow, where he enjoyed bottle service and privacy from the rest of the party.

WET REPUBLIC also welcomed internationally renowned DJ and producer, Benny Benassi to take over the turntables during Daylife Sundays. Party-goers went wild as Benassi spun his Grammy-award-winning tracks all afternoon long.

Daylife Sundays at WET REPUBLIC – the ultra pool at MGM Grand was off the hook as hip-hop star, Flo Rida delivered a stunning performance. The phenomenal artist took the crowd by storm performing five songs including his smash hits “Low” and “Elevator.”

Flo Rida was so into the atmosphere and energy of the crowd at WET REPUBLIC that he couldn't remain in one spot and opted to run around the whole venue interacting with as many fans as he could. At the end of the show, Flo Rida jumped into the packed main salt water pool to cool-off from his hot performance as the beautiful crowd cheered and applauded the rapper.

After the amazing show, Flo Rida stayed to experience more of Vegas' hottest pool party - Daylife Sundays - at WET REPUBLIC, partying in style with friends and fans at his table in the open-air lounge while enjoying Grey Goose, Dom Perignon and the view of many sexy bikini-clad party-goers.

Last night, Wilmer Valderrama was scene partying at premium nightclub Studio 54 in MGM Grand. Valderrama arrived with friends and took over the legendary nightclub’s VIP section enjoying bottle service and the electrifying atmosphere. The “it” boy partied all night long, drinking and dancing with friends as he enjoyed the beats spun by celebrated DJ Triple XL and local favorite DJ Jose 2 Hype. Fans of the former That 70s Show star were in awe all evening trying to get a glimpse of the sexy actor. Valderrama was very friendly and interacted with the crowd as he shook hands and greeted his admirers.

Also, spotted at Studio 54 was UFC Octagon Girl, Arianny Celeste. Celeste stopped by the legendary Vegas nightclub to say hi to close friend Valderrama. Celeste is scheduled to host a UFC pre-fight party at Studio 54 on Friday, July 4.

Benny Benassi plays Wet Republic at MGM

Sunday, June 29th, WET REPUBLIC’s Daylife Sundays presents, Benny Benassi. Benassi makes a stop at Wet Republic for the Rock N Rave Tour 2008.

In August 2007, Benassi released a remix of Public Enemy's 'Bring the Noise.' The track quickly reached the #1 spot on Beatport.com and imeem. The video for the track was created by 'The Eclectic Method'; featuring a montage of live footage from Public Enemy, the video was premiered on imeem.com. In February 2008, "Bring the Noise" won a Grammy for best Remix (Dance).

Benassi's new album Rock 'n' Rave was released June 3rd, 2008. The first single from the album is "I am not drunk."

Sunday, June 1st at WET REPUBLIC’s Daylife Sundays, Def Jam recording artist, Pittsburgh Slim gave a special live performance for a bevy of beautiful bikini-clad party-goers.

Pittsburgh Slim performed his hit single ‘Girls Kiss Girls’ along with three additional songs as gorgeous ladies and sizzling men danced and partied all afternoon long while singing along to the popular tune and listening to the tracks spun by DJ Scene and guest mixmasters DJ Bizzy and Tony Arzadon.

Last night, at Tabu’s Rok Box, members of the heavy metal band System of a Down were seen partying with resident Rok Box DJ Scotty Boy. John Dolmayan (drummer) and Shavo Odadjian (bass and back-up vocals) of the Grammy-award winning band System of a Down stopped by the seductive ultra lounge and partied until the early hours of the morning drinking Red Bull and vodka.

Last night at Studio 54 in MGM Grand, the legendary nightclub welcomed Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz as he hosted his Official UFC 84 After-Fight Party. Directly following Ortiz’ fight, the notorious UFC star arrived with his beautiful girlfriend in tow and large entourage of family and friends by his side at the Vegas hot spot.

Looking cute and deeply in love, the adorable couple was mobbed by fans as they approached the red carpet. Jenna playfully posed with her man, whispering “I love you” and exchanging kisses. Immediately after the red carpet, Ortiz and Jameson went straight to Studio 54’s VIP skybox. The pair caused a stir inside as club-goers flocked the area to get a glimpse of the beautiful couple. Jameson and Ortiz along with friends, family and fans partied all night long drinking champagne and dancing to the beats spun by DJs Mick Boogie and Roktakon.

Boxing sensation, Zab Judah was also in attendance along with additional UFC members.

Last night, May 20th, at the legendary Studio 54 in MGM Grand, 80s Pop Queen – Tiffany – gave an exciting special live performance leaving the crowd stunned and wanting more. Tiffany performed her hit singles “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “I Saw Him Standing There.”

The Vegas hot spot held an 80s themed night complete with costume contest for club-goers in conjunction with Tiffany’s appearance. Guests were invited to come dressed in their best 80s attire, as three lucky winners qualified to win prizes for the best costume.

This past weekend, the best of country music descended on MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards. In the city for a little work and a lot of play, country’s finest partied and played at WET REPUBLIC – Vegas’ first ultra pool – and the legendary mega club Studio 54.

The weekend’s festivities capped off Sunday evening (5/18) when live from the ACMAs before 11 million viewers, superstar Reba McEntire gave a playful mention of WET REPUBLIC right before introducing a performance by Montgomery Gentry. Reba quipped,” Have any of you been to the party pool? It’s called WET REPUBLIC, where hundreds of people drink, swim and jump in and out of hot tubs. Wait a minute – I was just describing Montgomery Gentry’s hospitality suite.” Clip attached for your viewing pleasure.

In the early hours of Friday morning on the pool deck below WET REPUBLIC, LeAnn Rimes and Trace Adkins each gave two live performances for a broadcast of CBS The Early Show as onlookers crowded around for a glimpse of the artists.
Toby Keith, one of country music’s finest, was seen partying at the legendary Studio 54 in MGM Grand. Keith was seated in the nightclub’s VIP skybox surrounded by friends and fans. He enjoyed bottle service and the atmosphere of the illustrious nightclub while partying into the early hours of the morning.

Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts partied at WET REPUBLIC the entire day. The group took home were named Top Vocal Group and won The Humanitarian Award at the 2008 ACMAs.

Today at WET REPUBLIC, one of country music’s cutest couples – Miranda Lambert, last night’s ‘Album of the Year’ winner and Blake Shelton – stopped by WET REPUBLIC for Shelton’s appearance on Great American Country’s Top 20 Country Countdown hosted by Nan Kelley, airing later this week. Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Keith Anderson also made a quick appearance for GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
Eddie Montgomery, half of country music’s favorite duo Montgomery Gentry, soaked up the hot sun in one of WET REPUBLIC’s neon green water lounges located in the six-inch wet deck.

On Saturday, David Spade made a stop at WET REPUBLIC. He was seen relaxing in the poolside ultra lounge enjoying chicken paninis and chicken skewers while listening to the DJ’s hot summer beats.

Later in the evening, former NFL MVP and winner of ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ Emmitt Smith, was spotted at Tabú Ultra Lounge. Seated right in the middle of the dance floor with Grey Goose and mixers, Smith enjoyed the seductive nightspot so much that he jumped on the tables and showed club goers that he hasn’t lost his moves since leaving DWTS and danced all night long.
