Singer & Dancer Crystal Eden - People in the Scene

Crystal Eden grew up mostly in Houston, TX. Crystal is a 5'1, red headed dynamo. As a triple threat (dancer/singer/actress) she constantly is auditioning and perfecting her trade.

Crystal dances ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, and does some partnering. I first met her, when she was go-go dancing at Jet Nightclub. She's also worked at Rockhouse Bar, Krave Nightclub, Rain Nightclub, Girlbar, and Cherry Nightclub, just to name a few. Crystal has also been in a number of shows, including: Show in the Sky at the Rio, Rich and Famous, Annie, the Nutcracker, and Swan Lake. She sings classical, jazz, musical theater, rock, and pop. She can act in dramas and comedies.

Crystal also takes on modeling jobs for conventions, tradeshows, and promotions. You may have seen her at Hawaiian Tropic Zone, the SEMA convention, at Harrah's, or at any of the other countless gigs she'd done in Las Vegas.

Crystal is professionally trained in singing, dancing, and acting. She has trained with such places as Joffery Ballet, Broadway Dance Center, Backstage Dance, Las Vegas Academy, UNLV, the Broadway Theatre Project, and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. One of her Vocal Training instructor is Greg Enriquez.

Some things you may or may not know about Crystal Eden. She knows a little bit about silks and fire tricks! She also worked as a Barista/Supervisor at Starbucks for three years.

People in the Scene: Betsy Allen at Jet Nightclub

Betsy Allen has worked for Light Group for over 3 years. She started at Light Nightclub as a gogo dancer. Management liked her so much, that a year and a half ago, they offered her a position as a VIP Table Hostess. Since then, Betsy's been serving VIP's and Celebrities at Light and Jet from all over the world. The nice thing about being in the nightclub business, she says, is that all the clubs support each other. It's like a big family within the industry. Betsy tells us that being a VIP Table Host has been one of THE most amazing experiences.

If you were to sit at Betsy's table at Jet, you'd get to see that she can get a little crazy. HAHAHA. Let her explain. "I serve what we call "Ice Scoop" shots. Then I make my customers do a dance off with me and the other VIP Table Hostesses. We bring back dance moves like The Robot, The Running Man, and any other crazy move you can come up with. It's a blast!" If you think you can take Betsy on in a dance off, message her on her MySpace page. That way she can hook you up with one of their hosts for a table reservation. Betsy also informs us that ladies get in free on Friday nights, IF you give her name at the front door. Just say, "I'm on Betsy Allen's list". Then you can come meet her for a dance off! Yep, just another day at the office for Betsy.

Throughout the week, when Betsy's not working at Jet, she likes to hit up Blush, Pure, Tao, Tabu, Tryst, and LAX. Being in this business, makes one feel like a VIP anywhere they go. One of the advantages of having a job like mine, is that we get discounts at spas, restaurants, and regularly get invited to pro sports games, concerts, and the afterparties.

Betsy is also known as “The Entertainer of Motivation”. After eleven years of traveling the world, singing and being a Motivational Speaker, she settled in Las Vegas, where she continues to develop seminars. She tells us that, "Within the first 3 months of being in Vegas, I accomplished every goal I set out for. I got a national commercial and was on 6 billboards in Vegas. I also was hired as the lead singer on the strip." "Working for Light Group, I've gained much knowledge of what "true" customer service is all about." Betsy's love of performing is still a passion inside her. So much so, she has decided to take motivational speaking to the next level, by creating MOTIV8 U The Show. Ah yes, Sara Stokes, Playboy model and all around kick ass person. If you live in Las Vegas and hit up Moon at Palms, you have undoubtedly seen Sara partying it up with some of her girls from Red Model Agency. You can't miss her when walking through the club. Aside from the typical reasons why she stands out in crowds, it's her smile that really lights up the room. Lucky for me, I've had the pleasure of witnessing "the smile" first hand.

Born in Michigan, Sara was raised with mid western values. With her sweet personality and her work hard attitude, Sara Stokes defines Striking, Brunette Beauty and Sweetheart swirled into one. It's with her striking features and unique short hair that separates her from the rest!

Sara always wanted to model ever since she was a little girl. She loved playing dress up and was such a ham for the camera. If you look at pictures when she was a little girl you will see the love she had for the camera. Sara loved dressing up her Barbie and looking at all the pretty woman and clothes in magazines. Even though she wanted to model at such a young age her parents divorced and her dreams were put on hold. Sara's mom was now single and couldn't take her to castings or agencies. Her mom had to work to support Sara and my brother. As time went on, Sara forgot about her dream and thought that she was too old. She felt that she had lost her chance.

When Sara turned 20, she cut her long beautiful hair very short. It was then that her dreams started to come true. Sara was approached by the owner of an agency. She told Sara that she absolutely loved her hair and face. The agent insisted that Sara needed to come in for open call, she was signed right on the spot. Sara started working and traveling immediately.
