Hooters Casino Hotel Las Vegas’ County Bar Opens with Udderly Crazy Cattle Drive

WHAT: The new Dixie’s Dam Country Bar at Hooters Casino Hotel Las Vegas is branding its presence with a Hooters-style “cattle drive” on Friday, May 23. A herd of 10 orange-spotted cows gone astray in Los Angeles. The cows, or rather, people dressed in Hooters’ cow costumes, will hitchhike their way from 10 different Hooters restaurants to the bright lights of Las Vegas. The cattle drive will culminate early Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., kicking off the celebrations, as they are greeted by Michelle Nunes, Miss Hooters International 2006, and some of the Rack Pack girls. Dixie’s will throw open its doors to the public on Saturday night, May 24, with a concert by country legend Joe Diffie beginning at 8 p.m.

The 3,000-square-foot Dixie’s Dam Country Bar will feature live music and DJs Wednesdays through Saturdays, while an island bar, staffed entirely by women, means no one has to wait for their beer and shots. And their line-up of all-female DJs will be as easy on the eyes as on the ears.

Dixie’s Dam Country Bar will be open 7 p.m. till the party stops, Wednesdays through Saturdays, at Hooters Casino Hotel, 115 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89109, across the street from the MGM Grand. During the Memorial Day Weekend festivities, Dixie’s also will be open Sunday, from 7 p.m. until closing. Dixie’s Dam Country Bar will throw open its doors at Hooters Casino Hotel Las Vegas Memorial Day weekend, complete with a Hooters-style “cattle drive” on Friday, May 23, and a performance by country music star, Joe Diffie, on Saturday, May 24.
