Fans of Jimmy Century is an independent San Francisco-based electronic/alternative dance group headed up by vocalist Alicia Peron and guitarist Victor James. Formed in 2006, the band is best known for their song "Hot Sahara" which helped steam up Showtime's The L Word in 2008, in a sexy scene known by L Word fanatics as "The Hot Sahara Scene." The song went on to climb to #23 on the FMQB Top Dance Radio Charts, with heavy support and airplay on Energy 92.7 SF KNGY and Pulse 87 NYC. Features on Ugly Betty, Samantha Who, and The Hills soon followed.
