Currently in its twelfth successful year on Broadway and seen by more than 45 million people in 11 countries, Disney's The Lion King continues to reign as one of the most popular and beloved shows around the world. With a story that reaches a wide expanse of people regardless of race or culture, The Lion King presents the tale of a lion cub as he journeys into adulthood and faces his royal destiny.

Simba, son of the strong and wise King Mufasa, lives a happy childhood until his evil uncle Scar plots to take over the throne and drives Simba away from the kingdom. In exile, the young cub befriends the hilarious Pumba the warthog and Timon the meerkat and learns their motto of carefree life, "Hakuna Matata." However, as Simba approaches adulthood, he realizes what he has left behind and that he must reclaim his destiny as king of Pride Rock.

The winner of more than 70 major awards worldwide, including the Tony Award and NY Drama Critics Award for Best Musical, The Lion King was originally directed by Julie Taymor, who wrote additional lyrics for the musical and designed its amazing costumes and creatures. The Lion King makes the African savannah come alive through a colorful array of masks and puppets, and the audience will be drawn onto the savannah with them through an exhilarating musical score. Featuring all of Elton John and Tim Rice's songs from the animated film as well as three new songs by the composers, The Lion King fuses Western popular music with the distinctive sounds and rhythms of Africa. From the Academy Award-winning "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and the haunting "Shadowlands," The Lion King will take you on a touching musical journey.

With plenty of love, laughs, and an amazing soundtrack, The Lion King is a Disney masterpiece that's even more fun to see on stage. Everyone ages young and old will enjoy watching Simba take his place in the Circle of Life.

The special holiday show will feature all of the group’s hits, some unexpected songs done in the famous Boyz II Men style and enough holiday tunes to get everyone in the festive spirit of the season.

Formed in 1990, the best-selling R&B group Boyz II Men has continued to make successful albums, sell out stadiums worldwide and keep a vast fan base over the course of 20 years. Best known for their heartfelt hits such as “End of the Road” and “A Song for Mama,” the all male group continues to prove that R&B will never lose its audience. The harmonic ensemble is comprised of Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wanya Morris. Boyz II Men’s brotherhood, as well as their love for music, has allowed them to enjoy a successful career. This holiday show is produced by Boyz II Men’s Manager Joe Mulvihill and Adam Steck of SPI Entertainment.

“Boyz II Men is truly an iconic musical group and have touched so many lives in the past two decades, including mine. I couldn’t be more excited or proud to be producing their first extended engagement on the Las Vegas Strip,” said Steck of bringing the holiday celebration to Flamingo Las Vegas.

Jenni "JWoww" Farley hosted a party at Studio 54 with new boyfriend Roger Mathews.

Las Vegas was fist-pumping as Jersey Shore bombshell Jenni “JWoww” Farley hosted a party at the legendary Studio 54 inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The crowd around Studio 54 was electric and bouncing with anticipation for the arrival of everyone’s favorite Jersey Girl.

JWoww took to the red carpet shortly after midnight where her adoring fans were crowded, eager to get a picture of the reality star beauty. Known for her sexy style, JWoww did not disappoint her fans as she wore a tight black mini dress with the sides cutout, revealing her toned physique and dragon tattoo. She matched her outfit with studded stilettos, feathered earrings and a small gray clutch, which only enhanced the star’s appeal.

JWoww was all smiles as she arrived because she was joined by her new beau, Roger Mathews. Looking like a follower of the famed GTL routine, Roger wore jeans with an Extreme Couture sports jacket. Once inside Studio 54, it was “T-SHIRT TIIIMMMEEEE” as Roger removed the jacket to showcase a black t-shirt stretched across his muscular frame.

After the red carpet, JWoww and Roger made their way to the VIP area over-looking the dance floor. Once there, the romantic couple shared a few embraces before JWoww sent out a picture of the legendary nightclub to her Twitter followers. Fans crowded around the area, trying to get a glimpse and photo with the accommodating reality star.

As the music started, provided by the L.A. Lakers’ DJ Kid Jay, JWoww was notably not fist-pumping, the dance move made famous in MTV’s Jersey Shore. When approached, JWoww shockingly revealed “girls don’t fist-pump.” Regardless of the style of dance, JWoww and Roger were clearly having a great time as they partied through the night at Las Vegas’ iconic Studio 54.

"Roger Waters performs Pink Floyd's THE WALL at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Nov 26th, 2010

Tonights show was a presentation of epic proportions. Roger Waters has brought back the Floyd masterpiece THE WALL for a 2nd tour (the last and first tour was in 1980-1981 with his band Pink Floyd) and tonight's show in Vegas was the 30th of a 36 show North American Tour Water's is calling his Farewell Tour and celebration of The Wall's 30th anniversary.

Waters has performed The Wall only one time since 1981 in Berlin Germany in 1990 to commemorate the fall of The Berlin wall. The new version of the 2010 Wall show featured many of the original theatrics and monumental stage sets and props from the original tour with an injection of new technology making it a state of the art presentation in concert sound and visuals. The sound in MGM Grand Garden was absolutely perfect and music and sound effects surrounded the audience from all directions throughout.

Tonights performance of Water's masterpiece, that he wrote while with Pink Floyd, took fans on a journey through the madness, addictions and struggles of the fictional character named Pink, loosely based on Water's himself. The album was born out of Water's own isolation, dissolution and lifelong fears. Water's and the band performed all 4 sides of the album and fans watched as the wall slowly went up brick by brick finally concealing the entire band behind the wall by the end of set 1. The Wall spanned across the entire MGM Grand Garden Arena and the band returned to perform the bulk of the 2nd set behind the wall.

Water's laced the performance with modern themes and political and social messages making the show more topical for a modern audience and addressing issues he finds important to share with his audience.

Water's addressed the crowd at the end of the show after the Wall was torn down in an explosive finale. He spoke about when he wrote The Wall 30 years ago, and how he was in a different state of mind, frightened & isolated, but today he is a brighter more cheerful man and seems at peach with his place in life and he said how much he loved being on stage and being there with his fans.

If this is in fact his farewell tour, as he has stated, then it's quite an extraordinary exit he is making. Die hard Pink Floyd fans are still hopeful and waiting for him and David Gilmour to reunite one more time with drummer Nick Mason for a Pink Floyd tour....but it's unlikely and this is perhaps the final chapter for live Pink Floyd music. It's up to David Gilmour now." - Erik Kabik

First Big Snowfall @ Mt Charleston 2010

Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort

Many people don't know this, but during the winter in Las Vegas, you can go skiing less than an hour away from the Las Vegas Strip. The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort on Mt Charleston is heaven for those that appreciate the heat of the summer in Las Vegas and snow in the winter. Make sure to watch the video below.

Christmas is still one month away but they're singing "Let it Snow" up at Mount Charleston. Several inches of snow fell on Sunday and more is expected.

It might be in the 50's in Las Vegas but on the mountain it was in the 20's. The colder weather and blustery conditions didn't deter some people. "People come up here because of the snow," said Tim Quillette, manager of The Resort at Mount Charleston.

Whether it's for a snowball fight, hot chocolate, a nap or the simple sight of snow, The Resort at Mount Charleston counts on the white to make the green.

"We're booming. We're looking at record numbers for Thanksgiving. People come to the mountain because they want to come to the mountain," said Quillette. - Click here to Read More

Saturday night Bam Margera was at LAVO Nightclub to celebrate the success of Jackass 3D and the release of the new book, Jackass: 10 Years of Stupid. Margera hammed it up on the carpet before sitting down to dinner at the Italian eatery with friends. In the club he jumped into the DJ booth where he handed DJ Skratchy a CD – little did he know the CD of Die Antwoords “ninja” would become the theme song for a surprise cake presentation. Bam and friends danced and made their way around the club, posing with fans.

Zach Abel from ABC Family’s Make It or Break It was spotted at LAVO Nightclub with friends, enjoying Penne ala Vodka, Kobe Meatballs and shots of Patron before heading up to the nightclub.

Rock group Rooney had an early dinner at LAVO Nightclub, fueling up for their concert with signature items from the kitchen and specialty cocktails including the Lato Auto and Sicilian Sun. After the show they hit TAO where they took over a lower skybox and danced with their girlfriends.

At TAO Nightclub DJ Vice provided the soundtrack for an amazing party. LA Dodger Matt Kemp and a group of guy friends commanded a dance floor VIP table, and while girlfriend Rihanna was not there, her presence was felt. When her two latest singles were played the outfielder to jump in the DJ booth with his friend Vice, clearly proud of his girlfriend.

At nearly 3 am Nelly stopped by TAO Nightclub and despite saying he was going to lay low, he couldn’t resist when Vice called him to the DJ booth. Soon an impromptu concert took place as Nelly entertained the packed club with his hit “Just a Dream” followed by a trip through the years all the way back to his debut album County Grammar, which peaked at #1 on the Billboard charts.

Kemp, Nelly and Vice kept the party going until 4:30 am, with Vice only taking a break from the turntable to stand on the booth and spray the room with Champagne while Nelly kept his for drinking.

MGM Resorts Charity Softball Tournament

Click the Images Below to View More Photos

FANTASY, Crazy Horse Paris, Defending the Caveman Help Raise $12,000 for Vegas Charities at MGM Resorts Softball Tournament

Today, MGM Resort entertainers and employees joined forces to “hit a homerun” for a great cause. Performers from Luxor’s FANTASY, MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris, Excalibur’s Defending the Caveman and Vinny from New York-New-York kicked off a two-day companywide charity softball tournament, which raised $12,000 for the MGM Resorts Foundation. One-hundred percent of these funds will be donated back into the community. This year alone, MGM Resorts employees have raised more than $4.8 million for the MGM Resorts Foundation.

The kick-off event pitted the Corporate All-Stars against the New York-New York Yankees. It was tight, but the Corporate All-Stars rallied to win in a close 14-13 defeat. Scoring big for the All-Stars was chief marketing officer Bill Hornbuckle with six RBIs including a homerun.

Company performers each got into the spirit of the game in their own special way:

• Throwing out the first pitch was Kevin Burke from Excalibur’s one-man show, Defending the Caveman
• FANTASY’s Lorena Peril led the “2nd inning stretch” with a fun rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”
• Dressed in Yankees stripes, Vinny from New York-New York delivered hilarious (if biased) commentary in his signature NY style while razzing the crowd with one-liners
• Performers from MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris and FANTASY at Luxor excited the crowd, who waved their homemade signs and cheered on their co-workers

Games were played all day Friday, with teams participating in a single elimination round on Saturday and a final game at 2 pm on Sunday, Nov. 21 to determine a tournament winner. The MGM Resorts Foundation is the public foundation that collects and disburses employee donations to nonprofit charities and causes designated by its employees. Since its inception in 2002, MGM Resorts has disbursed more than $35 million in employee donations.

Stars and socialites mingled last night at Nevada Cancer Institute’s Rock for the Cure gala in CityCenter’s ARIA Resort & Casino. Notables included the gorgeous actress/philanthropist Eva Longoria-Parker who served as the event’s honorary chair, legendary talk-show host Larry King who acted as the night’s emcee, former Van Halen rocker and Cabo Wabo Tequila founder Sammy Hagar, and CityCenter celebrity chefs Todd English, Shawn McClain and Jean Phillippe-Maury who created the evening’s spectacular dinner. Following the gala, Van Cleef & Arpels hosted an after party with Eva at her restaurant Beso and nightclub Eve in Crystals at CityCenter. Guests enjoyed Beso’s signature sangria and Cabo Wabo Tequila with the Desperate Housewives star, toasting to a night of fundraising success for Nevada Cancer Institute.

A Special Birthday Kiss from Eva Longoria-Parker
The evening was full of touching moments and lots of laughs as Eva and Larry bantered on stage. In a stunning backless silver-and-purple sequined mini dress, Eva joked with the crowd that she was a little concerned about a wardrobe malfunction to which Larry suggested she just lose the dress to raise more money for NVCI. Noting that cancer is a cause near and dear to her heart, Eva contributed to the evening’s fund raising with a deal brokered over dinner .. to wish a very special “Happy Birthday” to Las Vegan Lorenzo Sartini in exchange for a $25,000 donation to NVCI. She offered, “How about this? For another $25,000 I’ll give you a birthday kiss.” Larry King joked, “Really? $50,000 is all it takes to get Eva Longoria?” to which she replied, “That’s just a kiss. I’m much more expensive. A million!.” Larry quipped, “Well at least we have a price.” Eva finished her speech on-stage, headed down to the audience to give Lorenzo his birthday kiss and enjoyed the rest of the program.

Larry King’s First Visit to Nevada Cancer Institute
Clad in his signature leather jacket with beautiful wife Shawn Southwick King in the audience, Larry King spoke about his commitment to Nevada Cancer Institute over the past nine years, and discussed his opportunity to tour NVCI earlier that afternoon. “Nine years ago, when I first emceed Rock for the Cure, Nevada Cancer Institute was just a dream. Earlier today, I toured the Institute for the first time and saw the remarkable work they do first-hand. What an incredible accomplishment. Seeing these oncology experts giving cancer patients a second chance at life made me proud to support such a tremendous organization.” Finishing on a lighter note, joking about his much younger wife who he pointed out in the audience, Larry said, “I know what you’re thinking. When people look at Shawn and me, the first thing they notice is the age difference. But I’m here to say, if she dies, she dies.” The crowd roared.

Sammy Hagar – Rocker with a Heart of Gold
In true rocker style, Sammy Hagar arrived in a gleaming white suit and red t-shirt, bright red sunglasses and matching sneakers. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, with beautiful wife Kari by his side, talked about his charitable endeavors. “When I created the Beach Bar and Grill at McCarran Airport, I decided that 100% of the profit would go to charity. So when Nevada Cancer Institute asked me to get involved with Rock for the Cure, I said, I’ll not only play for you but give you some money, too! It makes you feel good. My pockets are full!” In addition to taking the stage for an intimate concert of his popular hits from his solo album, “There’s Only One Way to Rock,” he also participated in the live auction. Sammy, the founder of Cabo Wabo Tequila and Cantina, donated an all-expense paid trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, a beachfront stay at the exquisite One&Only Resort in Palmilla, a signed bottle of the rare tequila Cabo Uno and two signed bottles of Cabo Wabo Reposado, which sold for $18,000. But Hagar didn’t stop there; The Hagar Family Foundation later presented a giant check to NVCI for $75,000.

Over-the-Top Experiences Bring in the Big Bucks

Fast-talking auctioneer Peter Stremmel led the live auction, offering up even more unbelievable one-of-a-kind items:

• The big ticket item of the evening was an intimate dinner prepared by Celebrity Chefs Todd English and Shawn McClain for a group of 20 guests and served in the bidder’s home. The item was so popular, the chefs doubled their commitment, offering two dinners instead of one, ultimately raking in a total of $70,000 for Nevada Cancer Institute.

• Cirque du Soleil gave bidders the opportunity to “become a Cirque performer for a day” generating a $16,000 donation to NVCI. But the fundraising didn’t stop there; Cirque du Soleil pledged an astounding $1 million to the Institute.

• An exclusive tour for four guests of NASA’s Johnson’s Space Center and one OMEGA Speedmaster 50th Anniversary Limited Edition timepiece sold for $24,000.

• Four VIP Tickets to FOX's American Idol season ten finale, admittance to the VIP after-party and a night at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills went for $11,000.

TAO Las Vegas 5th Anniversary Photos

Celebs made their way to Las Vegas to help the famed TAO restaurant and nightclub celebrate 5 years of success. The party started early on Friday at LAVO, as Brother’s & Sister’s actress Sarah Jane Morris along with her husband Ned Bower from the band Rooney enjoyed dinner and their first vacation away from their son who was born earlier this year. Also dining at the Italian eatery was Kelly Bensimon of The Real Housewives of New York, who enjoyed Mojitos and the ever popular Kobe Meatball. Comedian David Spade dined at TAO before his show at The Venetian and stopped by LAVO later in the night to say hello to the TAO Group partners. Christina Milian headed straight to the nightclub at LAVO where she danced on the banquette with two girlfriends.

The main event was Saturday as notable names flocked to TAO to celebrate the anniversary and the night kicked off with breaking news of a celebrity engagement! Fans clamored for a glimpse of Dancing With the Stars favorite Karina Smirnoff, who shimmered in a sequin Marc Bouwer sheath that the designer tailor-made for her specifically for her weekend in Vegas with girlfriends. Smirnoff finally revealed the secret that she’s been keeping when she flashed the bling on her left hand to a cheering crowd—she’s engaged!

“I said thank you before I said yes,” Smirnoff said of the moment beau Brad Penny, star pitcher of the St. Louis Cardinals, got down on bended knee and asked her to be his wife. “He planned it very well and this is actually the first time I’m even talking about it.” The blushing bride-to-be admitted she hasn’t started thinking about wedding plans, but there’s one thing she’s sure of: “I’m going to keep Smirnoff as my last name.” And although Penny couldn’t make it to celebrate the night’s festivities, he sent his bride to be a token of his love in the form of an Everlon Knot Collection diamond necklace that he had delivered to her inside TAO’s signature fortune cookie dessert.

The party was a dual occasion for some celebrating their birthdays early, with Jack Osbourne, who will turn 25 on November 8th and Brittny Gastineau who turns 28 on the 11th both blowing out candles. Osbourne was joined by Sarah McNeilly while Gastineau gathered with her mom Lisa and a group of girlfriends.

Notables spotted dining at TAO before hitting the club included Olympian Michael Phelps, Ryan Eggold of 90210, David Spade, Ashley Hamilton, who appeared on season 9 of Dancing with the Stars, Sean Stewart and Jurnee Smollett from the new TV show The Defenders. Rhys Wakefield, the Australian actor best known for his role in the long running TV series Home and Away was also on hand, as was Cody Longo, who appeared in the remake of FAME and Adam Rose from the movie Up In The Air. Former White Sox MVP Frank Thomas was spotted with the girls of BelleVoxx, the pop trio he manages.

Kelly Bensimon, who lunched at Dos Caminos and Christina Milian also joined in night two of the celebration while Brandi Glanville was spotted hanging with friends Ashley Hamilton and Sean Stewart and dancing with a group of girlfriends on the catwalk.

Many of the celebs on hand congratulated Smirnoff as they celebrated her engagement and TAO’s anniversary upstairs in the packed nightclub, where models in body paint and a contortionist act welcomed guests at the door and dancers took the main stage to keep the high energy flowing. “I am happy for Karina and wish her the best!” Bensimon said. Osbourne joked, “She should get a prenup! I’m definitely going to get one when I get married.”

The crescendo of the night came when the TAO Group partners were presented with a human cake and a celebration cake congratulating them on five years of success. Bottle after bottle of Champagne was delivered via zip line to the tables on the dance floor, while performers twisted in cages and around poles on the center catwalk. As always, DJ Vice provided an amazing soundtrack for the night, keeping the party going well into the wee hours of the morning.

Over at LAVO Erik Estrada dined with his wife and kids, enjoying Spaghetti and Meatballs, Sea Bass and more. Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice was spotted dining at LAVO, as was Frank Thomas.
