So, today was about introducing you to my roommate Alexandra. I told her, since she's my roommate, she has to be in my videos, hahaha. We spent the day, running around Las Vegas because she blew out her tire on her car. Which, would've been perfectly wonderful had it not been 108 degrees while we were doing it. This is Day One of my Video Blog. Tonight, I had a photo shoot with my friend Heather. It went rather well. The complaint I had of the evening was the traffic in which I had to endure just to get to the Paris Hotel. Construction is EVERYWHERE in Las Vegas. It makes it VERY difficult to get around. But, I suppose you take the good with the bad.

Unique and Wacky Events for Fun Party People

Themed party busses and Strip “Amazing Race”-style events with hundreds of your soon-to-be closest friends? It’s happening sooner than you think.

Pink Elephant Games, a new event company that is the grown-ups answer to college partying, launches on Sat, Aug. 1, 2009 with its inaugural event – Pajama Party Bus which starts off in Town Square’s Blue Martini.

The company was born when Rosen, founder of the premier event planning company for Las Vegas’ Singles, Get Out! Las Vegas, wanted to give people, but not just singles or couples or locals or tourists, something more than a nightclub or bar mingling experience. “I wanted to create a company that united people who wanted to have good, old-fashioned FUN, although there is nothing ‘old-fashioned’ about these events.” Rosen says. “In this case, Pink Elephant Games is all about getting in touch with a younger version of yourself — the version that didn’t have the same stresses or concerns we have today – and letting that person come out and enjoy the moment.”

The fun and wacky event company promises to avoid the cliché Las Vegas events that dot the social calendars and reach out to locals, tourists, singles, couples, partiers, adventurers… anyone with an interest in elevating their social life and participating in unique events. “So many people I have worked with have been there, done that,” she says. “They’ve gotten past the velvet rope, had their photos posted on event Web sites, enjoyed complimentary cocktails and networking. People expressed their desire for more and Pink Elephant Games is going to answer it.”

The company is also socially responsible. Pink Elephant Games has pledged to give 5 percent of its earnings to two nonprofit foundations, International Elephant Foundation whose mission is to support and operate elephant conservation and education programs.; and Whole Planet Foundation, whose mission is to provide innovative assistance for entrepreneurship - including direct microcredit loans and tangible support for other community partnership projects – all to create wealth and prosperity in emerging economies.

“While we may not be the most socially responsible, we are dedicated to being globally responsible,” says Rosen. “We want our events to have an impact beyond improving the social lives of Las Vegans.”

The grown-up version of everyone’s favorite nights out, Pink Elephant Games is debuting on the Las Vegas social scene with two impressive events:

- Saturday, Aug. 1: Pajama Party Bus— This event brings together hundreds of people at Blue Martini donning their pajamas, with instant access into the local hotspot. After an hour, revelers will be transported to an array of other hip venues to party the night away.

- Saturday, Oct. 3: The Great Vegas Race – Two-person teams compete “Amazing Race”-style as they run around the Las Vegas Strip with 11 clues. The top 12 teams finishing earn tons of cool swag.

Other upcoming events include themed party bus events including the 80’s, Trailer Trash and Toga Party, as well as Canines & Cocktail Party, Bar Room Olympics, 18-Hole Beer Golf Pub Crawl and more.

Stacy Keibler, model, actress and former Dancing with the Stars contestant, brought her closest entourage of girlfriends to Tabu Ultra Lounge, the MGM Grand nightlife hotspot. The former WWE wrestling veteran and Maxim “Hot 100” honoree showed off her infamous 42 inch long legs in a black and gray leopard-print mini dress and black patent leather stilettos. Upon her arrival on the red carpet, swarms of fans surrounded the venue’s entrance, trying to get a peek of the blonde beauty, asking for photos and autographs before she entered the award-winning lounge.

Inside, Stacy hopped up on the platform table to show off her dance moves and enjoy the evening with her gal pals. She also displayed her outgoing personality by making time to thank all of the staff and mingle with her fans on the dance floor.

Steven Tyler, infamous rockstar and lead singer of Aerosmith, arrived at Studio 54 in the MGM Grand shortly after midnight today to host his official after-party following the MGM Grand Garden Arena concert by the “Bad Boys from Boston”. He walked the carpet in a red velvet knee-length jacket, black Aerosmith t-shirt, rocked out jeans with metal embellishments, and black Croc slippers. On his arms were long-time girlfriend, Erin Brady, and daughter, Mia, plus-size model, designer and former VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club TV star.

Once inside, Tyler was escorted to his VIP skybox where he was surrounded by 30 close friends and family. After just a few short minutes, he grabbed the mic, gave a shout out to DJ Ody Rock working the turntables below, and went into an impromptu surprise performance of "Walk This Way". The crowd erupted with excitement and began singing along with his every word. As he hung over the second-floor balcony, serenading the clubgoers, swarms of fans crowded around his VIP entrance, vying for a closer glance of the celebrated rock icon.

Included in his entourage were Matt Sorum, drummer of rock band Velvet Revolver (formerly of Guns N’ Roses); Ace Harper, founding diva of up-and-coming girl rock group, Darling Stilettos; and Mark Hudson, producer and songwriter that co-wrote over a dozen Aerosmith hits.

WET REPUBLIC welcomed Stacey Keibler, model, actress and former Dancing with the Stars contestant as she spent the day at Vegas’ hottest pool party destination. The stunning starlet was sporting a red and white polka dot bikini and matching white fedora. Keibler unveiled her amazing body as she partied with her close friends in one of WET REPUBLIC’s exclusive bungalows.

Stacey took a break from the party scene to enjoy a light summer lunch, which included fresh salads and an assortment of fruit. She spent the rest of the afternoon dancing with her friends as DJ Ody rocked the turntables.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former NBA all-star Antoine Walker on criminal charges stemming from $822,500 in gambling debts.

Seriously, Mr. Walker.  I can think of many other ways to spend $1 millon dollars.  But then you have to ask the casinos, at what time do you STOP giving someone with an obvious gambling problem casino markers.  Is it $100,00, $400,000, $700,000?

A lawsuit has been filed over a trademark that's the name of a luxury nightclub at Steve Wynn's Encore resort in Las Vegas.

Wynn Resorts Holdings LLC filed a lawsuit Monday in U.S. District Court against Atlanta-based NYLO Hotels, an operator of boutique hotels, after NYLO asserted rights to the trademark "XS" and offered to let Wynn pay a licensing fee to use the name for the club at Encore.

In-N-Out Burger is a staple on the West Coast. Sorry to all the other people in the country. Their success is in part by keeping it simple, as there are only 4 food choices on the menu, Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double-Double (Double Meat & Double Cheese), and French Fries. To help wash down the food, In-N-Out offers Coca-Cola products and 3 styles of shakes, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Vanilla.

What many people don't know, unless they're "in the know", is that you can customize your order from In-N-Out's "Secret Menu". Check out the list below for the different ways to order your burger next time you're there.

By the way, In-N-Out is open Sunday - Thursday from 10:30am - 1:30am; Friday & Saturday from 10:30am - 1:30am. This is great in Vegas for that fast food joint that is not like any other. Enjoy!

"3-by-3" = 3 meat patties and 3 slices of cheese.

"4-by-4" = 4 meat patties and 4 slices of cheese.

"2-by-4" = 2 meat patties and 4 slices of cheese.

*Note: The first number is for how many meat patties you want, the second number is for how many cheese slices you want.

"Double Meat" = This is basically the Double Double without cheese.

"3 by Meat" = 3 meat patties and no cheese.

"Animal Style" = The meat is cooked and fried with mustard. Then you get pickles, extra spread, and grilled onions.

"Animal Style Fries" = Fries with cheese, spread, grilled onions, and pickles (if you ask for them).

"Protein Style" = For all you low-carbohydrate (Atkins) dieters, this burger is for you. It's a burger with no bun (wrapped in lettuce).

"Flying Dutchman" = You get two meat patties, two slices of melted cheese, and that's it! Bun not included.

Fries "Well-Done" = Extra crispy fries

Fries "Light" = Fries not fully cooked.

"Grilled Cheese" = Better then the grilled cheese you make at home. It's melted cheese, tomato, lettuce, and spread on a bun.

"Veggie Burger" = For those vegetarians, this is a burger without the patty or cheese.

"Neapolitan" Shake = strawberry, vanilla and chocolate mixed together, just like the ice cream.

If you use the right terminology, the awesome staff at In-N-Out Burger will take your special order without question. The printed receipt you receive will even have your special request typed on it.
