Funnyman Katt Williams will be joining the Comedy Festival ranks with his performance on November 20th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace at 10 pm. With his wild energy, quick wit, trademark hat, and permed hair, Williams is sure to rock the house and provide a hilarious show.

Williams first discovered comedy while trying to get into a nightclub despite being underage; he noticed that they weren’t checking IDs in the line for comics and proceeded to enter the club through that line. Thinking that he would be able to enjoy the nightclub, Williams was surprised when he was called on stage. Using some quick thinking, he performed a five-minute improvisation to a laughing crowd. At this moment, Williams knew that comedy was his calling. In 1999, he became a presence at comedy clubs The Improv, The Comedy Club, The Icehouse, and The Hollywood Park Casino. Then in 2005, he appeared for three seasons in the Nick Cannon improv show Wild ‘N Out, which is what many consider to be his breakout role. He has also appeared in multiple shows on the BET Network, lending his comic powers to shows such as Comic View, Rip the Runway, Black Carpet, and 106th & Park. He received widespread critical praise for his performance as host of the 1st Annual BET Hip Hop Awards, and in 2006, he starred in an HBO Special entitled Katt Williams: The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1 and followed with Katt Williams: American Hustle the Movie in 2007.

In addition to being a comedian, Williams is also an actor and rapper. He has appeared in several music videos for artists such as Outkast, Ludacris, E-40, and Lil Kim, and has landed several roles on TV and in film. Some of the shows he has appeared in include: NYPD Blue, Girlfriends, Cuts, The Tracy Morgan Show, Wanted, My Wife and Kids, and the HBO Special Def Comedy Jam. Films he has starred in include Friday After Next, Norbit, Epic Movie, and the 2008 film First Sunday, where he starred opposite Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan.
