A Review of JET Nightclub at The Mirage

This club is state-of-the-art. The dance floor is rich in color and sound and the atmosphere is definitely a must see for anyone visiting Las Vegas.
Catering to a variety of tastes, JET features three distinct rooms, each a unique space with its own dance floor, DJ booth and sound system. The main room offers the best of rock, hip-hop and popular dance music. Another room is dedicated to house music spun by guest and international DJs, while the other plays an eclectic mix of music ranging from 80s to rock.
Four full-service libation bars offer creative specialty cocktails. State-of-the-art lighting and sound intermingled with brilliant visuals provide the ultimate combination of sophistication and cutting edge. All rooms feature spacious and luxurious open accommodations as well as exclusive European bottle service provided in the ideal nightclub setting with the unparalleled atmosphere that only JET Nightclub can create.
Although some great DJs have played at Jet, the star of the show on most nights is the lighting. The colors of the rooms are constantly changing and projections come from all different angles. This means there is always something to look at with little room for boredom. It is by far one of the most exciting places in town.

I hosted my best friend's birthday party at JET on 10/30/2008. First thing we did was order 2 Bud Light's which came to $18 ($9 for 1 beer is outrageous). Later on in the evening my friend was extremely dehydrated and felt like she was going to pass out. I went to the bar to ask for some tap water for an emergency situation. The bartender said that they cannot and will not give me any tap water even if it's for an emergency. She said if I wanted water it would be $6 for bottled. When I said it was an emergency they told me to "get lost". Another thing that happened was my friend's boyfriend had upset her and made her cry. I asked her to come to the bathroom with me so that we could have some privacy because she was sobbing and embarrassed about crying in front of everybody. We went into the bathroom stall together to talk (plus i had to pee). I was trying to calm her down when I heard somebody banging very loudly on our door and screaming, "GET THE F*CK OUT NOW." My friend said that we would be out in a second because I was using the potty. The lady then bangs again and says, "I SAID GET THE F*CK OUT RIGHT NOW. ONLY 1 PERSON TO A STALL." Again we said we would be out in just a second as soon as I was done. When we came out we asked the lady who was banging what the hell her problem was. She told us that they didn't allow 2 people to a stall. We told her that she could have said that nicely and there were no signs posted saying that we couldn't so we didn't know that. We found out the lady's name was Brianna and that she worked for JET as the "bathroom attendent". She continued to get up in our faces and continued to shout and was pushing us. I asked for her last name and she refused to give it to me. I asked to speak with her supervisor so two security guards came into the girls bathroom and I told them what happened. They refused to make her appologize to us. So moral of the story is that JET doesn't care about you they just care about your money!!
I would tell people to go else where. This club has the worst door service in the world. Forget buying the front of the line passes because the likely hood that someone that didn't pay will get in first is about 100 percent. They have extremely rude power tripping staff working in there own words 'they tell there paying guest that they don't give a shit!' Save time and money and go to Pure or Moon. This place is overcrowded and honestly lacks management!
