The Wayne Brady Show at The Venetian

Wayne Brady has already made a name for himself, with his three hit television shows. He is most famous for his beyond impressive display of natural talent on ABC’s hit improv show “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” You also may have caught his daytime talk show “The Wayne Brady Show”, or his newest television role as host of the primetime game show “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” With so much already on his plate, Wayne Brady is now performing at The Venetian Showroom in his new stand-up/improv act.
Be prepared however, this isn’t you’re average stand-up. Wayne Brady takes Las Vegas nightlife to a whole new level. Brady transforms the classic Las Vegas variety show into a comedy extravaganza incorporating improv, impressions, jokes, singing, and dancing. If you’ve ever seen Wayne Brady perform, you already know that he is the ultimate triple-threat. With an equally funny sidekick and a live band, Brady has all the ingredients necessary to light up the stage.
The audience of Brady's show is an integral part of the experience. Since the majority of the show is improv, the suggestions and participation of the audience are key and result in a completely different show each night.
In one sketch, audience members become the props and in another called "Forward/Reverse," Brady and Mangum act out a skit and do everything a TiVo might do, performing it in reverse, slow motion and more.
A nice touch that audience members will really enjoy is the final act of the show. Brady shows the audience his serious side and performs tributes to famous musicians such as James Brown. This is where his true talent has time to shine. Wayne Brady is definitely a class act and you won’t find anything like him anywhere else on the Strip.
