Cher Show at Caesars Palace

Learn more about Cher's Show at Caesars Palace here.
The rumors are true! Cher has returned to Las Vegas and is performing in the 4,100 seat arena, the Colosseum at Caesars Palace! Her performance on the Strip is bigger and even more spectacular than ever. Cher's first performance was on May 6, where she pulled out all the stops with a state-of-the-art stage that uses LCD screens in front of and to the sides of the stage. After Celine Dion’s retirement, Caesars Palace thought it would be hard to find someone to fill her shoes. But, they got lucky and ended up with two divas instead of one. Both Cher and Bette Midler will be sharing the stage at the Colosseum working for only weeks at a time and switching off. Both are veterans of the stage and will have no problem selling out performances in the very same way Celine did.
Cher has had a long history in Vegas. Her 44-year career practically started in Sin City, so she thought it would only be fitting to end it here as well. After her “farewell tour” fans thought the diva would go into hiding but she decided that it wasn’t the actual performances that she was getting tired of. It was all the moving around on tour. Moving from city to city each night was getting to be too much for her and since this new contract would not require her to live in Vegas (only working a few weeks at a time), she thought it was the perfect career move.
