Poison, Dokken, & Sebastian Bach - The Pearl

Poison to Perform at The Pearl August 22 with Special Guests Dokken and Sebastian Bach

The “Live, Raw & Uncut Summer Tour 2008” stops in Las Vegas at The Palms Casino Resort

In the ‘80s Poison found themselves in a category of popularity occupied by such acts as Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. Some of their top hits include “Fallen Angel,” “Nothin’ But a Good Time” and “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” Poison brings their rock ‘n roll, metal sound to The Pearl at the Palms with special guests Dokken and Sebastian Bach on Friday, August 22, 2008, at 8 p.m. for the Live, Raw & Uncut Summer Tour 2008.

This June, the band will be releasing Poison: Live, Raw & Uncut – a CD/DVD collection that includes many of their greatest hits. The CD/DVD was recorded in high definition and features a bonus gallery and behind-the-scenes segments that capture the mayhem and madness of life on the road.

Known for their stage antics, Poison’s short lived commercial success continues to be a major impact on the music industry thanks to catchy lyrics and guitar riffs. The band’s first album in 1986, Look What the Cat Dragged, sold 2 million copies and produced three Top Ten hits, “I Want Action,” “I Won’t Forget You” and “Talk Dirty to Me.” The band received a renewed surge of popularity when CeCe Deville joined the “Surreal Life” cast and Bret Michaels began his journey to find his “Rock of Love” – making the band a household name once again. Heavy metal band Dokken rose to fame with the release of its sophomore album Tooth and Nail that featured the hit songs “Just Got Lucky,” “Alone Again” and “Into the Fire.” Currently, the band consists of original members Don Dokken on vocals, Jon Levin on guitar and Mick Brown on drums as well as Barry Levin on bass. Sebastian Bach rose to fame with the ‘80s band Skid Row before branching off on a successful solo career. He joins the tour as a solo artist, performing his many hits from the past two decades.
