Tabú Ultra Lounge presents Super Slide Sundays with an intimate performance by hip-hop legend KRS-ONE, December 30.

Well-respected KRS-ONE epitomizes Super Slide Sundays as a celebration of old school hip-hop culture. The renowned artist is recognized as one of the best rappers in the industry and was honored as the 2007 recipient of Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) "I Am Hip Hop” icon award. Ja Rule, P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, Sublime, Mos Def, Dr. Dre are among those that have either sampled or covered KRS-ONE's classic rap material. Author, emcee and hip-hop activist, KRS-ONE is planning to release his third book entitled The Gospel of Hip Hop – a teacher's manual and study-guide for students and apprentice of hip hop's culture in early 2008; his newest album “Hip Hop Lives” produced by former rival Marley Marl is on shelves now.

Hosted by Mr. Freeze of the world famous Rock Steady Crew, Super Slide Sundays joins the best in past and present of hip-hop culture. The evening pays homage to the art of break dancing where B-boys and B-girls showcase their skills on the intimate dance floor.
